Controlling outbreaks in County Durham

In County Durham, outbreaks are managed by the regional UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) Health Protection Team on behalf of the Director of Public Health. Other partners such as NHS trusts, Integrated Care Boards, councils, and a range of other services will work together on actions to control an outbreak and keep people safe.

Outbreak control work is also reported to the Health and Wellbeing Board. Meeting dates and papers can be found at Health and Wellbeing Board.
