Motorcycle and moped parking

In some areas of the county, motorcycle parking bays can be found, providing designated space for parking.

Motorcycles are subject to the same rules as other vehicles - if you park where you should not, you will receive a parking fine. Motorcycles and mopeds must not park in bicycle stands.

Durham City car parks

There are motorcycle spaces in:

Framwellgate Waterside
the bottom of Claypath opposite Millennium Place
Cross View Terrace, Neville's Cross

Pay and display

Motorcycles can also park in our Pay and display bays without time limit and without charge, When parking on-street please try to take up the minimum amount of room by parking at 90 degrees to the kerb.
