Sensory rooms


Sensory rooms provide children with an environment that uses their senses and stimulates their brain. They can also be a great place for children to escape to and unwind in a calm space.

For children with additional needs, a sensory room may improve their mood, help to reduce anxious feelings and increase feelings of calm and self regulation.

We have dedicated sensory rooms in eight of our Family Hubs that can be used by mams, dads and carers of children who may benefit from their use. This could be young babies or older children who may have additional needs.

The rooms are free to book for one hour time slots. Please contact us to book a space.
