Help for disabled youngsters

We have a range of services to support disabled children and young people.

Help and support for local children and young people up to the age of 25 who have special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities is now available in one place as part of our Welcome to Durham's Local Offer.

Register with the Children and Young People's Network to get access to a variety of free events and exclusive discounts for disabled youngsters.

Our Park House at Park House offers young disabled people, between nine and 18 years, a short break service that is not available through family-based care services.

The Families Information Service is a free and impartial information service that supports families with children and young people on all aspects of family life. On the County Durham Families Information Service website there is a Families Information Service: Local Offer section which makes it easier to find everything you need to know for people up to 25 years old with special educational needs or disabilities.
