Markets
We currently oversee the management and operation of nine markets across the county. Find out where the markets are and the days and times they are held.
County Durham has a variety of markets that operate throughout the year and offer a range of products. We oversee all of the markets below, however some are managed day to day by external operators.
We are holding some bespoke specialist markets across the county where there will be something for everyone. Each market will have its own theme and provide a variety of produce from local suppliers. There will be food and drink markets, farmers markets, fun markets and a Christmas market.
See our Specialist markets page for more information.
