Pay a bus lane fine


If you drive in a bus lane, bus gate or bus-only street in County Durham when you should not, you may receive a fine through the post called a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

Pay/appeal against a bus lane fine (Penalty Charge Notice) online. Please note that the ticket details may not appear online until 24 hours after the fine has been issued.

The cost of the fine

A bus lane fine is £70, reduced to £35 if paid within 21 days. You have 28 days to pay it.
