Weather
In very bad weather some walks may be cancelled. If you are in any doubt please Contact Countryside Service. This number is monitored, so if you leave a message with your name and number, someone will return your call.
Alternatively you can access our Durham Countryside Volunteers on Facebook page which will give you details of cancelled walks.
Please bear in mind that weather and travelling conditions can change within a few hours, and while we do our best to keep you informed, occasionally a walk may be cancelled at very short notice. If you are in any doubt, please do not travel.
