View Lane Park, Stanley
View Lane park is a former quarry site converted into a public park in the 1920s.
Park facilities
The park was refurbished in 2010 and now offers woodland walks, a friends garden, timber and stone sculptures, and disabled car parking.
There is also an events area with an open air stage. Play ranger activities are held in the school holidays.

The park is situated near to Stanley Cemetery. Disabled car access is from View Lane and pedestrian entrances are at Wylam Road, Shield Row, Kay Street, Stanley and Murray Park in Stanley.
Opening times
The park is open all year round from dawn to dusk.
