Wear Valley District Local Plan
The Wear Valley District Local Plan (adopted March 1997) sets out the development strategy for the former district and the land use policies and allocations required to deliver this strategy.
The Local Plan is a key component of the Development Plan for the former district and is therefore a material consideration during the determination of planning applications. The Wear Valley District Local Plan is available to download from this page:
