Infant massage

Infant massage can be a wonderful way for you to bond with your new baby.

It's also a great skill to learn to help with things like colic, wind, constipation, as well as the physical development of their brain and flexibility. Many babies find the series of gentle movements across their skin very relaxing so it can also help with healthy sleep routines.

This 6 week course is very practical and will teach you how to massage your baby. You will learn:

  • how to practice massage safely
  • how to understand your babies non-verbal cues
  • when is the best time to massage
  • suitable oils to use
  • how stress affects babies, how they deal with stress and how babies self-calm

Babies need to be around 8 weeks old to start and up to pre-crawling stage.

Bookings for Infant Massage can be made on our Family Hubs Booking System.

You will need to register an account on the booking system to do this.
