Allensford Park

The 14 acre country park at Allensford is situated on the River Derwent near the A68.

Opening hours

The park is open all day, year-round.

Location

Access

The main entrance is located off Pemberton Road, next to Allensford Caravan Park.

Parking

There is a large free car-park area located next to the park and another smaller car park located at the other end of the site. Vehicle access is from Pemberton Road for both car parks.

Dogs

You are welcome to walk your dog in the park. Please keep animals under control at all times and please note that dogs are not allowed into the children's play area. At busy times, and when there are events taking place in the park, it is recommended that dogs are kept on a lead.

Play area

The children's play area has recently been upgraded with new play equipment and safety surfaces. The work took place during the summer of 2021 and the result is a better quality, more versatile range of play equipment suitable for children of differing abilities and ages.

Public toilets

Public toilets are provided on site and managed by the Allensford Caravan Park.

Cafe

A Café is available on site, operated by Café at Inn on the Park. See Cafe at Inn on the Park on Facebook for further information.
