Professional boundaries


This course is elearning and available through the Care Academy. It aims to raise your awareness and develop your understanding of professional boundaries.

Who the course is for

This course is for all health and social care staff. 

Learning method

The course is an elearning course consisting of three modules, it should take you approximately 30 minutes to complete. You must complete all sections of the course in order to access the test. 

What you will learn

The course will help you:

  • know and understand what professional boundaries are
  • manage professional boundaries at work
  • understand from examples given where professional boundaries could be broken
