These qualifications will take you from complete beginner to expert level, depending on your level of experience. All levels will build your experience in essential administration skills.

Starting with the Award, you can gain an understanding of the basics of business administration. The Certificate teaches you the essentials of keeping an office running - handling the phones and mail, creating business documents and welcoming visitors. The Diploma helps you master client service, understanding customer behaviour, knowledge management, efficient performance and growth management skills.

Business administration

Business administration and public service pathway (L1)

Learn the skills you need to start off a career in office administration with a Business and Administration qualification.

You'll learn the essentials of keeping an office running - handling the phones and mail, creating business documents and welcoming visitors. You can also choose units covering personal and social development or business administration.

Is a 20-weeks programme of learning that support those individuals that are looking to seek employment or already working in first level administration support roles.

The programme allows learners to gain a national recognised certificate in Business and Administration at level 1 as well as a pre-vocational qualification devised with the aim to progress learners into further learning or employment. 

Learners 

Learners are required to complete a number of optional units up to 13 credits.

Progression  

On completion of these qualifications' candidate may progress into employment or completed Level 2 Certificate / Diploma in Business and Administration or apprenticeship.

Business administration and public service pathway (L2)

Learn the skills you need in a career in office administration with a Business and Administration qualification.

You'll learn the essentials of keeping an office running - handling the phones and mail, creating business documents and welcoming visitors as well as more complex tasks You can also choose units covering personal and social development or business administration.

Is a 30-weeks programme of learning that support those individuals who are wanting to work in an administrative support role in public or private sector or who want to improve their administrative and supervisory skills.

Level 2 Diploma will help you gain practical know-how in providing routine and more complex administrative support.

Learners

Learners are required to complete a number of units that make up to 45 credits from both mandatory and optional units. 

Progression

On completion of these qualifications' candidate may progress into employment or completed Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration or apprenticeship.

Team leading

Team leading pathways (L2)

This programme is for those individuals that are looking to upskill or developing the skills and knowledge to successfully lead a team and support their progression into management positions.

Our team leader training course will expand your knowledge on the principles of team leading and how a business operates, as well as developing key skills needed to be a successful team leader and communicate with a range of stakeholders.

Course duration is 8-12 weeks and delivered via our online platform allowing you to work at a time the suit yourself.

Progression 

On completion of these qualifications' candidate may progress into employment or completed Level 3 Certificate in Team Leading or apprenticeship.

Working in the public sector

Working in the public sector - Employability (none accredited) 

To develop the learners' skills to gain employability within the public sector, covering a wide range of skills needed to cover a variety of varied job roles in the industry.

This course is aim at those exploring how to apply and what skills the public sector are looking for including abilities that are beneficial in almost every industry. Combining hard and soft skills to help you work more efficiently and effectively. 
  
As businesses evolve with changing technology, certain roles become obsolete while new ones arise. Exhibiting administrative skills can keep you updated, allowing you to add value to your workplace regardless of what the future may hold.

Also covering, CV writing, covering letters, job searches, making an application, interview techniques.

6 weeks-programme that will help support those provide a good understanding of the skills need to apply for employment within the public sector.
