Nurturing Little Minds

Nurturing Little Minds is a weekly peer support group for mams-to-be and mams who have given birth within the last 12 months who are struggling with their emotional wellbeing.

Peer support is when people use their own experiences to help and support each other.

The group will help you:

  • improve your mental health and wellbeing
  • feel better about yourself and build your confidence
  • build self-reliance and resilience
  • make friends and build a support network
  • learn skills and techniques to help you with being a parent, and improve relationships
  • feel confident to ask for support with your mental health and wellbeing, without fear

The group will be led by family peer supporters working in the Perinatal Mental Health team.

For more information please contact your midwife, health visitor, GP or Family Hub.
