Developing your career in adult social work

Working in adult social work is much more than a job, and choosing to join us will provide you with excellent opportunities for career progression.

Whether you want to broaden your experience as a social worker, become an occupational therapist, follow your passion to provide the best care to our residents or move into a more senior management role, we will help you to develop and reach your career goals.

Career pathway

You can start your social work career by becoming a social work assistant and develop into a social worker using the career pathway as a guide.

Our career pathway supports our social workers to progress and develop their careers with us. This is supported by a range of experiential programmes and accredited qualifications.

We also provide opportunities to develop as a practice educator and mentor providing a chance to support the next generation of social workers through supporting social work apprentices.
