Work experience with us

Discover what it is like to work for us with a work experience placement.

We have work experience opportunities in a variety of areas, and they are open to anyone aged 14 or over, whether you are at school, college, university, returning to work or looking for a career change.

Work experience has so many benefits. It can:

  • provide hands-on experience of the world of work
  • allow you to test the market
  • help inform your future career decisions
  • provide relatable work experience for a CV
  • let a prospective employer know you are interested

If you are interested in a work experience placement, please complete our Request a work placement form with your requirements and we will be in touch to explore opportunities with you.

We have an application process for a work experience placement within Legal and Democratic Services, open to individuals aged 17 years and over (or school year 12 and above).

Please note, work experience applications for July 2024 are now closed.
