County Durham Cree Network activities


The County Durham Cree Network (Cree) network offers members a broad range of activities to support health and wellbeing based on need within the community and interest of members.

Each Cree group is unique and offer opportunities for men, women and young people to meet and participate in recreational activities of their choice. Activities aim to reduce social isolation, improve physical and emotional health and wellbeing and support members to develop relationships with others.

Activities that can be accessed at a Cree

Crees are free to access and each Cree works with a specific target audience (please see individual profiles for more information). Crees offer a range of activities such as:

  • opportunities for members to meet to talk
  • one to one support
  • gardening
  • allotments
  • DIY
  • cooking sessions
  • arts and crafts
  • quiz nights
  • wellbeing activities
  • physical activity
  • communal lunches
  • trips
  • other people led activities
