3 Towns AAP priorities

Area Action Partnership (AAP) priorities are decided by a public vote every two years.

We use the results of the vote, statistical information (you can view this on 3 Towns Partnership AAP - profile) and local knowledge to make a decision on what our priorities should be for the coming year. If you want to see a detailed breakdown of the results from the most recent vote, Contact Area Action Partnership - 3 Towns Partnership.

Once we set our priorities, we use these priorities to help us decide where we should look to take action and allocate funding. 

Current priorities

During 2024/25, we will continue to offer support under the priority of Community Recovery with the additional themes of Community Safety, Local Environment and Climate Change and Towns and Villages. We will also be keeping an eye out for any emerging issues that may need support. The AAP Board will look at these priorities over the coming year and take action and allocate funding where appropriate.

Priority Task Groups

We take actions on issues linked to our priorities. To do this, we have a priority task and finish group. This group is made up of board and forum members and representatives from relevant partner organisations.

At task group meetings, we identify and discuss issues linked to our priorities, and we consider project ideas and requests for funding linked to these issues. If we want to progress any project ideas, we then send them to the board for approval.
