Due to maintenance, the following systems will be unavailable from 11.45am on Tuesday 24 December until 8.00am on Thursday 2 January: our online Council Tax, business rates and housing benefit services, and our welfare assistance form. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Replace an existing bus pass


If your pass is lost or stolen, or you have changed address, you can ask for a replacement bus pass​​​​​​​.

If your Durham County Council issued bus pass for the England national concessionary travel scheme (ENCTS) expires on 30 June, we will automatically send you a new one. However, if your address or name has changed since you received your current pass, please Contact Transport Services.

If your details have not changed there is no need to do anything.

We will commence despatch of replacement passes in June and you will receive your replacement before the end of the month.

Lost or stolen passes

Your initial bus pass is supplied free of charge. However, a charge of £5.40 will be made to replace lost or damaged passes. You can:
