How to have your say on plans currently in development

Find out how you can have your say on plans that are being developed.

In the process of neighbourhood planning, there are a number of different points where consultation is required which allows people to have their say on development. These include:

  • designating a neighbourhood area (minimum six weeks in circumstances where a consultation is required)
  • designating a neighbourhood forum
  • pre-Submission draft neighbourhood plan or order consultation (minimum six weeks/qualifying body)
  • neighbourhood plan or order submission (minimum six weeks)
  • referendum

You can find out whether a plan or order is under consultation or has already been 'made' in your area on the Neighbourhood planning - what's happening? page.
