Community Allotment Project for Dads

Would you like to spend time outside, help your community and learn more about planting and growing your own food? Join us as we transform allotment plots in Spennymoor.

Working in partnership with the OASES (Outdoor and Sustainability Education Specialists) group, our community allotment project is for dads, male carers and other men in the family such as uncles and grandads.

You will learn practical skills, make new friends and make a difference to the local community.

The group have now put the allotment under cover for the winter months ready to start it up again in February / March 2025 depending on the weather.

The group will run every Monday from 1.00pm to 2.30pm at Spennymoor and Tudhoe Community Garden, Broom Street, Spennymoor, County Durham, DL16 6HW.

All equipment is provided, just remember to wear your 'work' clothes!

To get involved for the future of the community allotment please Contact support for dads.
